My apartment complex has a pool but I just never learned how to swim lol. Looking for suggestions as to swimming classes. I’m in downtown Seattle but still figuring the city out so would prefer to be as close to downtown as possible but can drive out too. Thanks,
I took adult triathlon swimming classes that were held at Queen Anne public pool. I had never learned how to swim before that.
Gotcha, will check out also. Thanks!
Find someone on CL. Have them come give u classes at ur apt pool. But in Seattle unless it's an indoor pool, might not be fun getting into the water.
I used CL to find my old housemate/apartment etc but never used it for a service like this. Any tips on being safu? Like what if I’m in the pool and the person leaves me and takes my phone or keys & runs for it lolll, I’m just a bit paranoid about things. Yea thankfully it’s an indoor pool
Lol. U will know when u talk to them whether they r the cellphone stealing type. And how far r they gonna run with ur cellphone anyways, when u r right there.
Just look up some YouTube videos and setup a bench that you can lay on for practice swimming like everyone else.
This is common? Haha Definitely didn’t know
I also learned to swim by studying a swimming techniques book and redrawing the freestyle diagrams hundreds of times. I have yet to put my newly acquired skill to practice though, but it’s just a matter of finding a pool at this point...
Check ymca? Seattle athletic club?
Will check YMCA, I think Seattle Athletic Club doesn’t do swim classes but instead focuses on swim conditionings. Will call and find out also, thanks!
