Currently at Samsung. Got an offer from company A and joined. Within 1 week of joining got a better offer from company B which I want to join. Company A and B were interviewed for while at Samsung. Please help me with the below questions. 1. Should I mention to recruiter of company B that I have recently joined company A? 2. During H1b transfer for company B, I have to provide company A info, so does it make sense to leave out company A for background check or include it. 3. Even if I don’t tell the recruiter of comp B about company A, they might know about comp A from background/H1b. Will it result in offer getting rescinded ? Current Tc:240k Comp A tc: 300k Comp B tc: 360k Yoe: 5
You need 2 weeks of paycheck for the transfer. Check with your lawyers
Yes, you will have to provide the latest pay check and current h1b, otherwise if you don't then there are high chances for RFE and then you will have to provide that information anyways.
Ok. So wait at company A for a month and then initiate company B background and H1b and hope that the offer is not rescinded by company B??
That sounds correct. Why would they rescind though?
I was under a similar dilemma. Depends on how big the company B is but the company B won’t care if you tell them. If you are going to join company B, best to let them know sooner .
