I'm working as a Product Manager in the ecommerce industry where I focus on web personalization. 2 YOE in Product Management + 3 YOE SWE. Currently enrolled in the Udacity AI Product Manager Nanodegree program in hopes that I could possibly switch over to a company such as Google(maybe the Tensorflow team?). Has anyone made the switch or have advice? This year has made things quite difficult switching companies. Can't land an interview for any PM role. #productmanager #pm #product
You'll need FAANG company experience or top education to get interview for a FAANG ML PM role.
Did you get any benefit from the AI PM course? I heard it was not that great.
It's not terrible, but I do wish they got a little more granular. There's always a massive discount for the course. My biggest complaint is that the course isn't challenging, and you're only getting a very high level understanding of being an AI PM. Unrelated to the Udacity course, but I found this talk to be very interesting: https://youtu.be/CiJT36D8SZc
