People who have switched from Google to Two Sigma: 1. Why did you do it? 2. Was it worth it? 3. Do you want to go back?
No google bias here, just saw on a blog that there were a lot of edges from google to two sigma, but not a lot back.
Adjusted for company size?
TS has higher comp, marginally worse WLB, and has its headquarters in a desirable city for young single men (NYC).
2s doesn't have free food. Google has 3 meals a day :)
Hopefully you’re not staying at work long enough to need three meals. I spend $10 on lunch at TS and get a lot of great options. That ends up being about $2.5k a year... You also start off with more vacation at TS. And your comp will go up every year (no 4 year cliff). So yeah, if you think the free meals is what you should pick please stay at Google, we can do better.
TS is one of the few companies that has the perk of no free food
Prison also gives you three meals a day
Lol ok then. Enjoy your free bananas 🍌
