Whenever work becomes boring and people do not see any career advancement!
Good reason, either u bored with work or politically impacted, better to move
3 years is the magic number. It can be internal but you’ve got to do something different after that long.

I m wedcgte, I change teams/projects to get different work for every 1 or 2 yrs
GROWTH IS THE LIFEBLOOD OF ANY ORGANIZATION/HUMAN BEING It depends! If you are already working for a long time, then by this time you should have known about what is working best for you to achieve growth. Never ever work just for the sake of money even though you like the work. always make sure you work for a team that has room for you to grow in terms of ascending in the ladder OR grow as a good leader in your stream of work. It is safe to switch every 3 to 4 years.
Why u have to change the company if u like ur work and if u trust ur caliber. In a single company u can grow faster.
