How easy is it? Say, if I was so lucky to get an offer, if I wanted to work in Pittsburgh for two years then move to the bay area. Would this be doable? Or is it frowned upon? Is two years too soon?
That's good to hear. I have an on site @ Pittsburgh. I want to live there for a few years while my gf finishes college, since it's close by to where we live now. And then move to the bay area because it's best for both of our careers
Good luck. It's very easy to transfer internally after one year, especially to the Bay.
Yes, very easy. After 2 years, your team will also be helpful for your move. Lots n lots of openings in bay area so u will hv plenty to choose from
No problem, though starting at Pittsburgh you may get a lower offer and likely won't be properly adjusted when you move to the Bay.
You’ll easily get the opportunity to transfer teams once your team gets dissolved by the time you start
