How is the company? Culture? And future of it? I might get an offer from them.. they told they will provide PIEs instead of RSUs since they are private company now. How worthy are they?
Ok I have the freaking Digimon theme running through my head now thank you for that
I worked at gigamon for 3 years. It's a great company: amazing culture, executive team is VERY down to the earth and approachable, Paul Hooper (CEO) knows people's names, is super technical and the BEST sales or marketing person. The company has a lot of perks and takes care of their employees greatly. The company size is also great; over 850, below 1k headcount. It's a really nice sweet spot. The customers also love the products and features. With all of that said, the company needs new blood and direction. It's become a one trick pony (even though it's making shit ton of money) I highly recommend joining gigamon. Their GigaSTAR is a great employee recognition program that reall makes you feel appropriated and motivated to work harder. During COVID-19 sip, Gigamon is giving every employee $50 for home internet and they sent out thank baskets.
@op did you take the offer? It was a good company while I worked there. It was public company then with decent stock options. What did the HR mention about PIE’s? How is it calculated when the company goes public?
how many PIEs in total?
PIE worth zero
It’s gigagreat TM
