Hi all, I have my onsite with OCI in Seattle in a few weeks & although the manager and recruiter know I don’t have any experience with it, they told me to just give it my best shot regardless. They are hiring for all levels so although I’ve watched some youtube videos and gone over some informational articles, I don’t want to spend too much time on it bc I still struggle with tougher LC questions. What would you do? If I do ok on the ds/algo and get wrecked by the system design, will that screw me out of an offer? I want to believe no but Im paranoid. YOE: <2 TC: 80k
Just know the basics will do
Read that Grokking System Design thingy. If you are interviewing for something that requires less than 4 years of experience, that should be enough. Otherwise, dig deeper into each stuff, coz they will
Gotcha, thanks
I'd focus on acing the two coding rounds. System design can help uplevel if you clear the coding rounds, it won't help getting an offer if you bomb one of the coding rounds.
Is there any advice on where to prepare for those two coding rounds?

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
Postpone if you don’t have enough time to prepare for both.
Not an option, I’m interviewing with two teams on the same day & if it’s delayed more, then there’s holidays and stuff.
