Have an interview at T-Mobile for Sr Engineer Database (Snowflake) . HR scheduled an hr session with HM. Any tips with , What kind of prep i should be going with ? What level of leetcode/HRank should i prep for. Also HR mentioned 110-125 Base for Bellevue/ 95 -110Base for Overland Park with 15%Bonus and 10K RSU/Yr .. Is this a correct range and structure they usually provide for Sr Engineer roles. Thank you.
I’d say shoot for 130-140 for Bellevue. RSU sounds about right, that’s why TMO is having a hard time competing with other Tech companies. Don’t forget to ask for sign-on. It might be in 10k to 20k range. LC might help. But I don’t know how much. Not all teams test that.
Definitely negotiate the base. 110-125 k is for SE not Sr SE. RSU will remain same for everyone. If you're relocating also get relocation bonus.
That is low base for Bellevue. It should be above 130 and depending on your yoe and how badly the team wants you, it can go upto 145.
YoE- 7 (coming from one of its vendor). So should i ask for 130 - 135 base ? HR mentioned they can do 125 when she discussed..
Update - looks like i have cleared the initial technical discussion with hiring manager and dev lead and hr set up a half day discussion with entire team (with director, other sr managers and team) . Is this a normal process for next step ? What kind of expectations would be there in these discussion. Is it another technical round or more of behavioral.. ? Also is this the final discussion they are going to have . I saw some one posted about domain match round etc. cos mine was referred for a specific position. Any info would be much appreciated.

Looks like there’s more room on the base. I’d say 110-145K. T-Mobile RSUs are very poor, it’s 10K/3years not every year
Hi , Thanks for these details . Any idea what kind of prep and interview process would be for a Sr Engineer-Database. Will practicing LC helps ? The role is mostly related to Python/Sql and Snowflake.
Not a dev. May not be the right person to answer that
