Class action lawsuit coming for employees laid off from the vax axe that's been coming to a head and popping like princess pimple popper on April 2nd. I have heard this from SE side and another colleague that a class action will happen in combination with a EEOC filing due to forced layoffs from the vaccine mandate. If you have been living under a rock let me fill you in. T-Mobile has been pushing the vax mandate for corporate business side employees and then state that they are going to offer religious accommodations and medical then yet not honor any of them. I would know because I have dealt with this for months myself being threatened with my career unless I get the shot which should be a freedom of choice and religious perspective. Yet our fantastic CEO states they care about employee health, BE YOU and oh yeah D&I yet this mandate isn't done in retail or 10 other front facing positions so it is a major double standard and discrimination. I am being separated from T-Mobile next week and my senior leadership is very upset that I am being handled this way professionally. Luckily for me I stayed 10 steps ahead and I have a new role awaiting me after I get all of my final payouts I will get to take a month off then start my new role that is both another promotion and major pay raise and oh yeah 100% remote. One final note I had 40 companies reach out to me in the last few months and all of them do not care about this vaccine mandate so to hang on to it this long at T-Mobile just screams being in bed with the government if not more realistically this being the grimy way of doing forced layoffs without doing severance packages. I hope every person who said this was a bright idea from a legal counsel standpoint along with leadership gets served. What is everyone else hearing ? Also here is another funny note everyone's laid off is re hireable and psssst I was told by a bird in a tree they planned this all along. Senior Leadership is jumping ship. After this mandate gets done then they will then the herd with PIP and those not in good standing. Time to launch.... #layoff #severance #tmobileforbusiness

Ensuring they can save face with the public & government “look we care about your health so much!”
Good for you standing your ground! It should absolutely be a choice and I hope they get sued into 2050.
I am heading to company that works as a full service shop in Managed services. 14 months ramp sigh on bonus 225k TC. Promotion to Senior level Enterprise
One rumor is TMO did the vax mandate to win favor with the Biden Administration and obtain more contracts with Federal Agencies. TBD.
I know many people who have submitted their exemptions, religious and medical, and they are accepting it. They are not being pushed to get the vaccine.
Cry me a river. You are the reason this has gone on as long as it has.
Adding that I don't think TMobile has handled much of anything well, so don't conflate this with being a shill for corporate. SLT has shit the bed at every step of the way with pandemic and return to work. That said, you live in a society, get over yourself.
I'm not a doctor (I'm guessing you aren't either if you are at Oracle) but that's an inaccurate statement based on what the CDC has reported. It does reduce the chances of transmitting and receiving COVID. More importantly though, if you do get COVID and aren't vaccinated you are likely to end up in the hospital taking beds from those with life threatening conditions that they didn't willfully put themselves in. I could go on, but my stance is that it's extremely selfish and taxing on our already overtaxed medical system to refuse something as commonplace as a vaccine based on ignored medical community advice and religious beliefs that haven't kept you from getting other vaccines in the past.
Can you mention some of the other 40 companies that are remote and don't care about the vaccine? Interested
I don’t have a list maybe OP does but MOST that are smart have quietly rescinded or never had a mandate in the first place. Most companies do not have a mandate only a few woke ones and I hope everyone leaves.
Spectrum Enterprise, DISCO, Google, Telefonica, PCR, Lexis Nexis, P&G, GE, Calix
your paragraph is incredibly hard to read ... 3-4 row usually ok... 7 rows max... sorry
Any company that makes moves like that will come after your other personal beliefs and belongings sooner or later.
This post comes off a bit manic, but I can respect that. It is incredibly telling that they don't mandate for stores and retail workers, but they do for the mostly remote tech workers, almost like it's about ensuring that corporate is compliant and homogeneous.
It is mandate for any position above mobile expert in retail, so assistant managers and up
