Principal Software Engineer TC~300K at Microsoft vs 600K at Meta. Is 300k pretty low for Principal scope?
Did one last year. Its not that crazy! Dont let recruiter scare you. Just be yourself. One technical code pairing interview where you will be expected to code with one of our engineers. Just be yourself, even if you don't know answer, try to take help, speak with pairing partner and come to solution. Doesnt have to be perfect, but they do expect to follow all standards like TDD approach, proper comments, namings etc. Dont worry, here they don't do standard leetcode problems like other tech companies where you can memorize leetcode and pass. Here they will scale you based on how good of a problem solver you are!!!
