Got an offer from Microsoft in Bay Area L64 180K Base 180K Stocks/4 years 60K Sign On YoE: 6 years Is it a good offer? Can I negotiate more? What will be my TC like? Hows the target bonus and refreshers? Its not clear to me and I am afraid to ask the recruiter

OP - I m in Finance and I had a comparable offer at Zillow. As a SDE (assuming thats your profile), you should definitely ask more in RSU. Congrats on the offer!

I wish I had a number for you but I don't want to give you a random number for the sake of it. Check out levels.fyi and see if you can get an idea. Looks like there are enough SDEs who could also point you in the right direction or share their L63/ L64 offers. All I know is you could make much more than someone like me in finance
Congrats on L64, but the offer for L64 is so weak.. but for 6 YOE getting L64 will be great for your career

I think 300K TC + sign on should be reasonable. You’re around 252K + 60k sign on with that offer

Your L64 offer was less what I was making as an L62 in the bay area. My comp was on the high side, due to out of band performance bonuses, but there's no way it should be more than L64 pay. In don't think this is a good offer. Ask msft to wait and go get a competitive offer.
