TC for FAE at Chip companies?

Any Field Application Engineers out there? What do they make for TC?  I see job openings at a bunch of chip companies.  Thanks.

Thanks. So they leave semis because the $ is better or just the prospects?  Makes me wonder with all the openings if there is a shortage of them.

Asking about TC at Marvel, Samsung and Broadcom. But in smaller co like Cirrus or ones less known.

I am a hardware EE interested in pre-sales but not software.

Depends on chip company ... right now many FAEs are jumping into system level design jobs if they can at FANG companies. Semis are hurting ... where do you plan on applying ?
