TC for ML PhDs for top 4 CS schools
Not another TC obsessed post but just genuinely curious about how much TC is being offered to ML PhDs graduating out of MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, CMU etc as Research scientist at Google, FB, Tesla, Nvidia etc.
Can be as low as 210k or as high as whatever Snap L4 is offering.
Snap L4 seems to be a low bar for a ML PhD from Stanford/MIT, but what do I know? I work at Walmart 🤣
Do you have significant work experience? If not, the best you’ll do with a PHD is probably mid level (e4 at fb, l4 at goog). You think you’d crack l5 at snap fresh PhD grad? Wake up lol

Really? There's CalTech, Cornell, UIUC, UTA, Washington etc. Georgia Tech is good but not in top 10 imo
