Wells Fargo just announced they plan for all employees to return to office on September 6 as a target date (post Labor Day weekend). Please post your company return dates if they’ve been announced. I’m just curious to see what the consensus is. I heard most of FAANG still doesn’t plan to bring employees back until end of this year. Does anybody think these companies are jumping the gun already picking target dates. #covid-19 #WFH
NVIDIA mentioned that WFH will become the new default mode, but people will still have the option to work from the office if they want to/ their job requires it. The official policy guidelines have not been made public yet, though.
Good to know. I assume this came from a credible source?
Curious about the source, also some roles would benefit a lot from access to specific hardware, does it apply to every one?

Officially targeting early June. Recently announced that there will be a limited trial starting up in May, however, with people who have been vaccinated to establish processes and procedures for keeping everyone safe once it’s opened to all. No mandatory return to the office until Jan 2022 at the earliest.
Google is not supporting remote roles. Do not know return to office date. Facebook is allowing remote.
Only for seniors right?
Depends on your def of senior. E5 for tech IC3 for non-tech
As a #noogler wonder if it makes sense to move back to the valley in August or mid June to lock in a good housing arrangement. I think if I just show up in September it might be crazy.
It’s little late, do it by May.
What do you base that on? For personal reasons I was thinking of pushing it back as far as possible. Maybe mid July. But if you have any additional insight/data/opinions please do share.
