Got offer from TI Santa Clara with 2 yoe and a PhD. Base 155k Bonus 20%? RSU 35k after 4th yr NSO 35k /4 Sign on 25k *2 Relo 15k TC ~220k I am currently in LA. This is about 40% more than my current. I am inclined to take it because TI seems to be a stable company during the semiconductor downturn and offer a career step stone. But this TC makes it hard to live in the bay area. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated! #semiconductor #hardware
What's the role and profile?
System engineer
Most of the Bay Area make <130 a year for family of 3. These numbers are good for PhD+2.
This looks more like a Dallas offer.
Is it JG28 or 29

Definitely not hard to live in Bay Area. More frugal. Most folks make much less. Don't be fooled by the minority with massive TCs on blind.
