I recently attended PWC final round and cleared it. But due to hiring freeze(due to covid 19 situation) I think it might not proceed further for now. my question is, will my profile be there in their database and they continue from where it was left in hiring process, once situation gets better? or Do i need to go through the entire process of interview again in future? #interview #career #covid19#it
Same boat at another Big 4. It’s now public knowledge that all Big 3 and Big 4 have paused hiring indefinitely. Who knows how long this could go on. BCG announced no new hires for the rest of 2020. As your recruiter where you are in the pipeline. If you’re at the offer stage then you will be good as long as this clears up within the next month or so. Beyond then, all bets are off.
Recruiter conveyed me the feedback after final round which is positive and also said the process might be delayed due to current situation. But within a day i read in news that they pwc froze hiring. I am fine with the delay, but if it goes beyond 3+ months, do we need to start from scratch? Or we can resume from where we left was my concern.
Nobody knows. You realize this is a completely unprecedented event, right? The longer this goes on, the deeper and wider the cuts will be in consulting.
Google has hired me but moved my start date until Q3. I am sure that will be the same case for you with PWC.
By clearing it, you mean they gave you an offer? Or only finished? PwC final round doesn’t mean much until you have offer in hand.
That was based on the feedback provided by the recruiter after the final round.
Zaza
Same thing happened to me with PwC and Omnicell smh..
In our weekly Covid-19 call it was told that they will honor all those who have accepted offers from PwC. Both external and new hires!
I was just going to comment what the person above commented.
Why would you want to work for PwC?
Most companies will retain progress, but ask your recruiter.
