Hi, I will be getting an offer this week as a sr analyst in analytics in sfo. My background is in electrical engineering and exp has been in data sci/analytics. I am a canadian citizen. Could I run into any issues at the border getting my TN based on my education background and job title? Any info on this would be great for anyone who has been in a similar situation before. 1) it's your job to convince them. How much you need to convince them depends on the agent. 2) if you feel like you are being rejected, withdraw your application right away. A withdrawal is better than rejection.
Could you clarify what you mean by 2)? Doesn't this process happen at the port of entry? What do you say to the agent? "nevermind, I don't want to enter the country on TN status" ?
