TPM role at Microsoft versus Netflix. Which one should I consider? Looking for a WLB. I heard Netflix has aggressive PIP culture. Is that true? TC: Not yet. Have given onsites.

It is true. But our severance is nice 😁
If you are in any way a minority in terms of DEI then MicroSoft is your new home (until layoffs or a re-org get you) but if you are an aggressive top performer and like competitive environment then NetFlix will grow your skills faster but it has layoffs plus PIP competition.
Is layoffs common in Netflix even without this economic turmoil?

We don't have pips, and don't have target layoff percents, but we do tend to cull people who aren't good. Read the culture memo.
