What was it like working under Victor Alston at Ixia before he got fired? Any interesting stories there? He’s the guy that lied about having degrees from Stanford and was sanctioned by the SEC for some shady business practices. He changed his name from Vivek Chakraverty to Victor Alston for some reason. Anyways, he’s doing corporate welfare real estate scams in Saint Louis now and I’m trying to understand his origin story. Tc: 199K
Lmfao wow
Vic was a very driven guy who built the engineering culture. He would regularly work 80 hour weeks and expect a lot from his reports. Friday evenings I would see his reports waiting in the lunchroom for their 1:1. Some we’re scheduled at 10PM! He was very persuasive and manipulative, but I didn’t see much shadiness. The company culture never recovered after he left. They lost the ability to execute.
I dont even know what Ixia is, probably some no name loser company
