Have a first round interview coming up with DataDog. folks familiar with the process , would appreciate your input on what to expect and any details/tips on the overall process. Thanks. This is for Sr PM role. Current TC: ~300k (3 YOE as PM)
You will probably get downleveled to PM II if you make it through at 3 yoe
Thanks for the info. Any guidance on interview process
There are a few Datadog PMs on Prepfully. I had booked a mock interview wiht one of them in November but then recruiter ghosted me so I cancelled it. I've used Prepfully for other companies though and they are pretty solid albeit get expensive fast if you use them too frequently.
Thanks for the suggestion. Will check it out.
I went through this recently. It felt very open ended. I was asked about almost everything on strategy, analytics, design, and systems on a high level. Asked about my favorite product and how I would improve it. Any Datadog product I’ve used or know about and my thoughts around it. Was asked to describe systems I use in my current/past role
How’s was it OP? Got into next round?
Interviewing next week. Are you also interviewing?
I have a call with the recruiter this week.
What's recruiter call focus on?
Stumbled upon this post as I’m looking for similar input. OP, How did the interview go? Can I DM you with questions? I got done with recruiter call and will be starting their interview process next.
How are you 300 at 3yoe?
+1
Total yoe is 8. PM related is 3.
