MSFT CSA Salary ceiling…?
I’ve been at msft for 5 years. L62 with a TC around $200k. I don’t love the role, but I know I can move to a SE role, TS role or even SSP in the future. My worry is the comp ceiling. I have a lot of friends that work on Wall Street and in PE and I don’t think I can ever get to that level of comp at msft. Is it worth going mba route and trying that..? Should I be looking at startups? Do msft sales folks make as much as they do in my head lol? I wanna grind but I don’t think grinding in my current role is going to get me where I want to go. YOE: 5 TC: 200k
Not too late to do mba -> ibd. Note that your wlb will be destroyed for the rest of your life if you pursue this route. There is a reason people usually quite after few years
