I have an offer for 150K TC at Medtronic (healthcare company) for machine learning positions and 230K research scientist position at Amazon. I have heard lots of horror stories at Amazon and I am not sure which one is better? #tech

RS/AS positions at Amazon are well respected and balanced. No brainer to take up Amazon on their offer.
Go for Medtronic if you are passionate about healthcare research, otherwise Amazon. Biomedical companies salaries not at all comparable with tech.

Medtronic for fulfillment, Amazon for salary/TC/growth Both are valid choices. Medical device growth and salary is crap does not compare in any way to tech
