Tableau Offer evaluation - No joining bonus or RSUs offered
Hey Blind! Newbie here. Have an offer for analyst position at #tableausoftware in Seattle. I have 3+ years of experience and this is what I’m being offered. Base - 110k Bonus - 10% Saw a few posts on here about handsome joining bonus + stock options especially for SDEs at tableau but curious to know how the pay structure is like for analysts to help with my negotiation.
Interviewed for a similar position at Salesforce in SF. Was about the same with little wiggle room 115k possibly. Happily declined!

Tableau used to pay more but after acquisition pays less Just look at Salesforce offers - its the same now
At Salesforce, non-SWE = non-technical. So unless you’re very senior (~director level or above) you likely won’t qualify for a sign-on bonus or RSU’s. I know because I’m in a similar position
