Guys, I'm a software developer interviewing with Tableau, would like to know how their onsite experience looks like. Do they ask questions during lunch meeting, how many coding rounds and design rounds. I know I could ask these questions with the recruiter, but I wanted to know if you guys can provide me with more details than that. Any help is highly appreciated!
I think this depends on the team. I recently interviewed (and got an offer) and got 4 coding sessions similar to LC, no system design, for SWE. All questions were unique and not found on LC. Behavioral was pretty minor for me, like 5-10 mins per round.
Were the questions more on the hard or the medium side of the spectrum?
The offer I have is roughly around 315k TC. The difficulty was easy-medium, medium, hard, medium-hard. Note this is my subjective difficulty rating after doing around 200 LC.
I know some of the guys in PA and they’re a great team. Very smart and personable.
@OP How was your interview experience ? I have one upcoming. Appreciate any pointers

I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.
Thats amazing insight I had not given much of a thought. Mind sharing some type of questions?
