I feel this one is overblown. I'll challenge whoever the fk tailgate into my apartment (especially in San Francisco) Watching video seems like Dictionary.com guy is just a jerk with f bomb and being asshole while YouTube guy is insistent but reasonable. Anyone work with these guys and want to comment? https://www.forbes.com/sites/rachelsandler/2019/07/09/white-man-calls-police-on-black-man-waiting-for-friend-at-san-francisco-apartment-building/
None of the articles prove or disprove if Michel actually tailgated or if Cukor just assumed he did. It's Michel's word against Cukor's. If Michel did not tailgate, then it was none of Cukor's business to question him. If he did tailgate, then Cukor did the right thing. Were there no CCTV cameras?
Michel was clearly inside the apartment lobby while Cukor is holding the door and asking him to leave or buzz his friend. If that's the case I feel he has every right to ask for the friend name
There's no evidence of Michel tailgating. There's no evidence/claim from him, that he didn't tailgate either. So nothing can be said conclusively. If Michel wasn't tailgating he should be able to explain how he got into the building. Am I missing something here?
Eh, fuck this guy. “My pops was murdered for confronting people so imma do the same shit and then use that as an excuse to call the cops!” Nah. You wouldn’t confront shit if that was your concern. So, fuck his weak ass attempt at whatever the fuck I just read.
I would love for my neighbors to question tailgaters like this to protect the community
That's my thought as well. Anyone who lived in SF should know to do this
Just curious, have you two ever tailgated into a building in SF? If you have, would it be ok if a resident questioning you as to who you were there to see?
No tailgaters
In America, police are there to investigate. Until there is an arrest and subsequent decision to prosecute, then who the fuck cares.
I think too many things are mislabeled “racism” when in fact it’s racial bias or prejudice or just a guy being anal retentive. I can see both sides of this situation very clearly. I think both could have been adults and handled the situation differently.
The AA guy was provoking and intentionally trying to escalate the situation. He wasn’t a resident and should have helped the resident guy who was trying to ensure there are no intruders. I wish more people help prevent tailgating and ask people politely to not do so

Why? This is a legitimate discussion
Blind doesn't care. Heckler's veto applies here.
