I have thoroughly researched a position at Cisco Systems. After interviewing, I gathered that the team seems extremely small and new. How do I provide a target salary if there is little to no salary data or history publicly available? I feel I may have shot too high when asked salary during final round. Please share your thoughts. Interviewed 5 rounds & business case I’m not very familiar with salary structure that consists of signing bonus, RSUs, etc. So I’m at a total lost and don’t want to ruin my chances due to lack of salary structure knowledge. #ciscosalary

You can refuse to provide a target salary range and instead tell them you are certain they’ll make a competitive offer. Or provide your dream range. Either works (or not).
