Commuter benefit - wageworks
Do I lose the money in my commuter card if I switch my company? I am moving to a new company next week. I work in NY area and I have a wage works ADP card. Is there a way around it?
Argghh... Any idea who does the money go toš¤? Is there a way to transfer it to commuter benefit of the new company?

It depends on the company contract with wageworks but ask them. Typically you get to keep the card and spend the remaining balance over the validity period for authorized expenses of this nature at your new employer. Typically you can't get cash back.
90-days to spend down the accrued balance has been my experience with three companies that used wageworks. But, check their website, it states how long you have to spend the money after a departure.
Yes ur money expires that very month typically Try to use ur money but there is a monthly spending cap as well
