What about people in the NERD program?
I heard it was about 20 NERDs from all the cohorts were laid off.
5-6% of company (about 2k people) got laid off. It was mainly middle management. No client facing reps will be let go due to transitions from TDA to Schwab. Source: Me. I work there.
Incorrect, branch employees (FC/client facing) at Schwab were let go and managers from CS&S. Schwab released a press statement saying client facing employees would not be impacted and that was complete bullshit
Financial consultants are useless to be honest. Robo advisors ans the internet will take their jobs eventually.
Middle managers and senior employees who are ready to retire were let go. It totally makes sense to me in this economy situation.
Around round coming in Feb 2024! People who are “safe” will get extra workload. Stay tuned 📺
