Tech Recruiter Contemplating Joining A FAANG (or similar).

I've been in Tech for 25 years - 12 in Corporate IT, 13 as a Tech Recruiter. I've been on the Agency side throughout and focus on recruiting Advanced/Senior-level Engineering roles. For whatever reason I've developed a knack for hard-to-fill/specialized roles and most of my work is on behalf of modern, Cloudy shops. Not FAANGs, but not far off either. I'm thinking of jumping ship to one of the FAANGs (or similar - not start-ups, however) to focus on FTE rather than contract/consulting positions. I simply prefer that side of the business. Oh, and yeah, I want to be Remote... Advice as to which companies to avoid/target? Pitfalls of jumping from Agency to a corporate role with a major Tech company? Should I work as an independent rather than be a salaried employee? BTW, last time I posted Blind the rule was disclose your TCO or GTFO. Assuming this still applies, this year I'll clear $200K with my Texas-based firm. Thanks in advance. #recruiting #career

What's the difference anyways for recruiters at FAANG vs. others? From my experience, quality varied greatly depending on individuals, not based on their company. For example, some FAANG recruiters don't even respond to some emails.
