Tech jobs in Germany
I’ll be moving (back) to Germany in a few years. I’m a Senior Software Engineer, full stack. Interested in cloud and/or fintech. Can you recommend any companies and/or industries that pay good TC for Germany, above average? Is it realistic to get 100k (EUR) as a senior engineer? How about Google or Microsoft in Munich? Anything cool built there? No, I don’t plan to continue to work for SAP. SAP sucks. I briefly worked for SAP in Germany before, it sucks there too.
Hey OP apart from tech skills, is the language a requirement to move to Germany?
German was a must back in 2008-2014, dunno now

100k is definitely feasible. Checkout levels.fyi. Also add Argo to the list of bigtech-paying companies. Why coming back if I may ask? I’m trying to get out in hope of a bigger TC in US.
Tc or gtfo Apply to Shopify, Spotify, Wayfair, FAANG, Stripe, Yelp, Gitlab, Github, Adobe, etc. You can get 100k+ for senior roles with the right experience

And yes, it’s very realistic to make 100k euros. I used to make around ~€70k when i had only 1 year of experience in Germany. That was back in 2013 and 2014. Deutschland ist doch besser!
