Does anyone know what tech lead compensation at Google in Cambridge is?

"tech lead" is such a bs title
Depends where you are, some places that's basically technical management without the word management, other places it's there to make a senior dev feel special.
No it's not. TL is a good position in a pyramid scheme. You get credit for doing your own work. You'll also get credit from other people's work. You get credit for everything under your system. It's most straightforward way to get to L6 at Google.

I did and for the most part it is satire. Dan Lyons entire career has been about poking fun of things. The book was no different. I genuinely enjoy where I work and at least on the engineering side of things hubspot is a great place to work.
