So the two are not intended to do the same thing. I use SAS a lot but would compare it maybe R or even Python for statistical use cases.

200% salary in 2 years is a REALLY hard ask, especially with no previous knowledge stated and a non-tech company you currently work at. 90% of people who earn anything over 150k have at a minimum 2 years experience behind them while those with 200k TC are generally senior level positions, which at a minimum is generally 4+ YOE with the technologies they have in their stack. You're really shooting for the stars here and it's not something that HASN'T been done before, but it's 1 in a few thousand that does that.
Your best bet is to pick up Python and start leetcoding
