He is bringing toxic culture to the tech industry, managing with fear and forcing employees to work 997. Look at what's going on in Twitter. If he succeeds, others will copy him, and the toxicity will spread to more companies like a plague. Tech workers should not apply jobs to Twitter or Tesla. It's not even worth it to begin with, and it sends our message. (No offense to those working at Twitter and Tesla, great products and great people there)
Every FAANG engineer has already boycotted Musk, no one will take a downgrade on TC to work more hours for Elon.
We should form a guild that demands an 8 hour workday or all guild members refuse to work.
Toxicity spreads fast in the industry. Case in point - the current interview process.
+1
Easier said then done. When it comes down to providing for your family you end up sucking it up and doing the work. If I get laid off and can't find anything other than working for Musk, I will put my ego aside and take the job.
Yes of course, but in your case only if that is your only option to provide for your family. There are many who will compete to work for him, because they share his toxicity.
997 = 9am to 9pm 7 days a week
Totally agree with @musksucks and to top it up, people on Visa have no option at all.
No one ever changed the world on 40 hours a week It’s a choice
Meanwhile we still got tons of applications and will be the same once Twitter resumes hiring. This is the real world. Grow up kids your boycott does absolutely nothing
Agreed, the dickwad probably gets a boner watching mullusk do his toddler dance
