Scheduled a technical phone interview with Atlassian (MV) and cannot really find anything wrt types of questions they ask (both phone and onsite): leetcode or more of a background, system design? If LC what difficulty level?

Has anyone interviewed with them recently? Any feedback would be extremely useful!

Interviewing for a principal software engineer role if it helps.

Recently had my interview with them. Phone screen was Leetcode medium question (DP) and onsite was 4 rounds with no Leetcode. 1x technical convo with interviewer about my experience with their tech stack, 1x System Design, 1x behavioral, 1x culture fit.

What I recommend (apart from grilling down on Leetcode), is to really really understand their company values (found on their website) and practice some behavioral questions and tie your answers back to these values. I made sure to do that during the culture fit portion and I think that's what tipped me in their favor to get the offer since I know that they give a ton of importance to their company values. This also explains the heavy weightage towards behavioral interviews during the onsite.

Thanks, this is a great suggestion. I would certainly overlook it.

I interviewed with them a week ago myself. I did 2 phone screens the latter of which was 2 leetcode questions - one medium dfs, one harder DP string manipulation problem. Onsite was 4 rounds - 2 rounds of LC medium/hard problems - incl. tree traversal and a graph algo. 1 design round which revolved around scaling a service and a behavioral round with a manager.
