Hi, I was reached out by tesla for an interview by one of their recruiters via email on january 30th. All he asked for some times to talk to a hiring manager and I promply responded. I got nothing back yet. is this normal? I sent a follow up time with additional times while keeing it light and brief. just want to know if I should give up expectations. #tesla #engineer
This kind of move, and how it is considered normal in the world of hiring, is so flawed and frustrating.
You’re telling me. It’s my dream job and here I am waiting
Agreed. I once had an OCI recruiter keep me on standby for more than a month for onsite (after clearing phone interview). I sent him multiple reminders but no response. I then sent a final email saying that since they couldn’t schedule onsite on time, I am left with no other option other than accepting an offer from Amazon. I sent this email at 9:30 pm and got a response at 9:32 saying they really want me to come onsite and they will expedite things and if I can come in the next few days? They sent multiple emails after that - I never responded. (And I really wanted to work there because the guy who did the phone interview was super technical yet very down to earth and plain awesome! Really was hoping to join his team)
Have seen this a lot with Amzn
Kills me cause I just wanna hear back aha
I had a codility test, then a video phone round. After that the recruiter is dead.. Atleast you are getting ghosted at step 1 and not unlike me after investing my time in 2 screening tests.
Totally normal - they like keeping people on standby mode!
Cool. Got the same thing from amazon so patiently Waiting
We call it sentry mode
