It’s worse than tied to the VIN. If they resell it they’ve been known to remove it. It’s more like they sell you the car and lease you the software. A cheap shot IMO, but then again I happily drive a 14 year old car, so I’m not the target audience.
Why does that Tesla employee above claim that it is tied to the VIN?
If you sell private, fsd goes with the car. For whatever reason if you don't trust an employee on some anon app, who cares, it's not my place to convince anyone. I'm just trying to be helpful. Call or chat with sales, or stop by a store and get your confirmation.
