Anyone got a good deal on Tesla Model 3 standard range plus insurance and is under 25 age? All the quotes I have been getting are above $200
Thats wht you pay to avoid gasoline and 25k more to start with Now calculate your breakeven timeline
That’s shocking. My A4 is 10k more than a model 3 SR (on paper) and my insurance is 140 a month for Geico with almost max coverage. I’m 25 as well. When I was first here, and first on my own insurance, I had to pay Travelers 220 a month for good coverage but that’s when I was 22. If you can answer, Is this your first car? How long have you been licensed? Are you American?
Not American. And yes first car
Ah. Yeah, that’s probably why. Honestly you’ll probably have to suffer for a year or so and then you can switch to a new insurance carrier and cut 10-20 percent off. 200 isn’t bad for a first car. Trust me and spend a little extra money to have more than the minimum coverage. 25 more a month is a lot better than coming up short on insurance.
Yes, this will be my first car. And it's for just a bit more than the bare minimum
That sounds cheap for under 25
Give tesla insurance a look. It just went live today. I switched to Geico when I traded in my old car and the rates were great, but they went up 40% on my year 1 renewal. Called in and they said the rate hike was only for the the bay area due to abnormally high window breaks. Just checked out the new tesla insurance today and the rates dropped back down about 30%. Still higher than my intro geico but not by much, and certainly better than the 40% bump they just threw at me last month.

200 pretty good
200 a month for model 3 is not good, nor is it typical even for bay area where rates are higher due to all the glass break occurrences. Who are you insuring with OP?
bs do u even have a tesla
