I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.

Modi is the worst dictator!
I got promoted to Sr Manuf Engg at Tesla Austin but the base salary increased only by 7% and I got some stocks. Is it common to just have so small increment in base salary? YOE: 5 Old TC: 133K New TC: 157K I know TC is 🥜🥜 but manuf engg don’t make a lot.
Sounds about right
It's only 8% max since last year
How much stocks for sr mfg engineer promotion?
15K a year. Did you go through anything similar?
How did you get promoted within 10 months?
I got lucky with nice projects to work on having high visibility. They were simple though. And my manager said that director did not want to promote anyone less than a year but somehow my approval came and I don’t have more details.
We have similar roles and as you mentioned the pay semiconductor process/manufacturing engineer is 🥜 but 7% is lowball. 10-15% increase is standard + stocks. What is the base pay? Did you get a higher market adjustment increase is that why the promotion increase is lower?
I am a recent hire (10 months) so did not get any market adjustment increase.
Yes total 18% base and stocks
