Hi Guys, I have an offer for a Vehicle Quality Engineer at Tesla (CA) and I am interviewing for a similar position with Lucid as well. Tesla : Base - 130k, Stocks - $43k per year Lucid: Expected Base - 140k; Stocks - Unknown. I feel Tesla is more established, plays in different vehicle segments, has shown good sales performance and has better long term career potential. But not fully sure about Lucid since their product is not out yet and the market demand is not fully known at this point. Need your thoughts on which one would be a better choice overall since my Tesla start date is nearing. Also is it possible to re-negotiate a signed Tesla offer if Lucid has a better offer? #Tesla #Lucidmotors #teslajob #salary #joboffer

I would be shocked if we end up paying higher base than Tesla.
I’ve worked at both. Take the Tesla offer and ask for higher base. Lucid stock won’t be worth anywhere close to Tesla shares in the next 10 years no matter how many they offer you.
If you don't mind sharing, how long were you with Tesla and Lucid before switching to Rivian?
Lol, what kind of logic is that, obviously lucid stock won't be 500/2500 but why won't his lucid offer be more valuable than what Tesla is offering him?
I honestly think both are good companies. It would boil down to the team in my opinion.
If you want money go for Tesla - but Tesla is not a startup anymore, for exposure and experience come to Lucid.
Tesla is a big startup in all senses. Super fast and no bureaucracy. But as any startup it expects a lot from people.

Go for Tesla. Lucid seems promising but isn’t on road yet
