They fired a handful of people related to model3 launch and scaling issues. All were performance related from wat I heard.
Elon Musk believes in Jack Welch philosophy to always fire the bottom 5% who are low performers
You're talking out of your ass. Has Elon ever said that? Just because people were walked out after performance review does not mean that the bottom X% have to go. It just means their reviews were bad enough to warrant firing. Do you have proof that Tesla requires a bottom 5% or something and that they always get fired?
There is something fishy about Tesla. The profiles I have read in wsj about their stuff driving tech as well a model 3 production, suggests musk is basically ashowman who likes to announce random things to get appluase and hype, while the reality is much less impressive. I wonder one day we wake up and Tesla has filled for bankruptcy.
People have been saying this ever since tesla / SpaceX launched. Try to support someone who is doing good and pushing boundaries.
He sets crazy stretch goals like Jobs with reality distortion but they pull them off most of the times. Gotta give prop to him. Every automobile company now wants to be 100% electric mostly because of Musk.
