Why does this matter? You should be able to get an accurate quote for a hypothetical vehicle change from your current insurer. If you're just interested in gauging your cost against other TM3 owners', I will tell you that the car you drive impacts your premium far less than other variables. Unless it's a super expensive car or one that leads to substantially more claims, of course.

Insurance in California is expensive because they can’t use credit score to measure your risk despite significant evidence proving it is an accurate indicator. My insurance would drop from 800 for 6 months in CA to $400 for 6 months in Texas.
