Tesla offer
Hi all, I’m a mech engineer with about 4 years of experience - recently got an offer from Tesla for a TPM role for a particular team, tentatively in Fremont, CA. I’m currently living with my partner in San Diego, and she requested a transfer to her parallel team in the Bay Area, which got denied for the time being. Is there any chance Tesla would allow me to work out of SD (during the interviews multiple team members mentioned a parallel group based out of SD) if I requested this? Current TC: 80k
What was the offer? I got EPM offer at Bay as well, similar yoe
125k base plus 100k RSUs
What's the specific role? There's Tesla San Diego but it only focuses on battery/cell

How was the interview like?
Wasn’t too bad. The standard presentation on a previous project plus a 5 person panel interview. Took almost a day. Lots of questions on my knowledge of what the org does, general management/scheduling related topics too
