Is it true what they say that Musk told his Tesla exec team that remote work is not acceptable anymore? There’s a rumor floating around that even remote employees need to be present in a main office location at least 40 hours/week from now on. Any truth to that? #tesla
Yeah it’s true. Good luck to Twitter employees. Your days of doing 4hrs of work per week are over!

"Acceptable" spelling is wrong in Elon's email subject line 😲
Need to be in office 40 hours then remaining time is wfh??? So basically he is saying Tesla is hybrid. 5 days in office 2 days at home...
I bet he's a big fan of the 996 culture.
Honestly makes me want to apply to Tesla
He has a cool email
https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/elon-musk-ultimatum-to-tesla-management-return-to-office-or-get-out-3028787 Tesla sucks, I don't know why anyone would want to work there with this guy at the top. He thinks employees are his personal property and drives a brutal work culture, none of which should be acceptable by people working there
Good luck attracting top tech talent. Only way I'd entertain onsite is for a 50% pay premium, and I guarantee I'd get less work done.
It’s a diverse world, I think they will find talent, there are certain kinds of people that admire dictatorship personality. Other people may tolerate the dictator culture for the cool product.
Maybe, time will tell. In my experience top tech talent all have extremely high critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, and I've yet to meet anyone like that who admires dictatorship.
Hopefully their SWEs can be more careful about bugs slipping into production without the distractions of working from home.
I just asked Musk he said to watch his Twitter.
