Hello, I recently received an offer from TI for their rotational technical sales program. The offer was: Base: 96k Stock: 15k after 4 years Signing: 7.5k Relo: 6.5k They also mentioned that TI has paid out an annual bonus of 20% of an employees base salary for the past 6 years. Is this true? Also, I heard sales engineers get 20-30% of their base pay in performance bonuses. Is this true as well or is it pretty rare to get that much. How is the worklife at TI? Any insight would be appreciated. I have 2 YOE as a Intel intern but have no experience in sales. TC: ~120~140k? (With bonuses?) #texasinstruments #ti #salesengineer #technicalsales
TI is a good company , it's definitely a good company and pay is decent for your YoE.... They have paid out profit sharing since like 2013 or 2014 at 20% I would suggest negotiating a month salary for sign on bonus.... Ask what job grade you'll get.
I went through the tsa program. IMO TI was a good stepping stone for better opportunities but one of the lowest paying companies in the Bay Area. You only get the RSUs if you stay all 4 years which is a joke. No refreshers either.
Ill be in the texas area but I am excited to gain some experience! After how many years in the industry would you say people hit like 130k base salaries?
