Analog Devices buying Maxim for 17B$
Huge consolidation happening in the analog design houses. Next will be merging with TI. All analog companies will end up in the same place.
Sure there is lot of consolidation in HW but most of them digital focused. Small companies like cirrus logic, silicon labs,skyworks solutions,dialogue semiconductor and many more are analog mixed signal
