How is yelp performance as a company? I use yelp often but i always think they are underperforming given how much data they have. Simple features are missing for many years

Not sure, but according to the article their highest revenues have come while the employees were all remote. Plus, I'm sure commercial real estate isn't cheap in NYC and Chicago.

They probably don't have money for $400k software engineers. Future is low cost countries, not US. They'll soon be opening offices elsewhere.

Amazon has shortage of "good talent" not "talent", and that's coz there are a lot of options everywhere, even in these low cost countries for good talent.
