I visited Chino Hills in California for property reasons, it was a cold night, no fog, no smog, driving through with some local residents. My friend who stayed nearby was going to pickup his son from dance classes located in that region. As soon as we entered in chino hills, I opened the window as I was looking the city from the inside and everything looked normal just like any other small city. 1. The very first question that came into my mind was - โWhatโs that strange smell ๐?โ 2. To my surprise, others asked me - โWhat strange smell?โ 3. Few moments later, they said - โYeah! We never realised it before. We come here so often and even then.โ It could be possible that sometimes we see what others canโt because they get so desensitised by the environment. It literally makes us a parasite ๐ฆ . The system might want us to feel that way, so that either we move away or we accept for what it is. But donโt change or hope for change. Because business is as usual. Something similar happened in NYC, where cabs are run my unions which are hard to convince for change or adopt. Because the whining human and Prick mice both get so done fighting with each other and now both are tired. Which is what a system wants. But Uber was the only company that nudged the whole system in NYC. I believe somebody needs to change Chino Hills too. In echo-chambers you can see the city but not the smell, the feeling part.
