The Smithsonian: what is White Culture in the US?
Well, Ok, they credit it to Judith Katz’s 1990 work, so none of this is new, but what’s new is that it’s mainstream now. People of Color, what do you think about all of these aspects being attributed to white culture? Nigerians on wealth, ethic and gratification. Though I don't know about the win at all costs. It does seem that they're some of these elements present. But when you say Asians, you mean immigrant right? I feel like that's such a broad descriptor that I doubt any particular thing can be pinned to that group

Well, this could be only produced by a typical ignorant American. So easy to tear apart this diagram. BTW, does “white culture” imply “bad culture”? I see numerous attacks on science, reason, individualism and nuclear family (not mentioning Christianity, but not other religions) - that makes me think the private property institution is the next to be “disrupted “. As a part of “white culture”.
Very curious what here you'd tear apart. It all pretty well agrees with my upbringing's values (white upper-middle class suburbia). And no, nothing here says bad culture, just white.
Depends on what you mean by “white”. Are those values exclusively “white”? That can be torn apart. Are there white people who have different values? I guess no.
As an Indian, which may not be a poc. We all should aspire to be like this almost everything there is a positive skill. I dont understand the hate against white culture, its becuase of their culture they occupied all the wealth in the last 100 years we should all aspire to be like that

Some things are obviously 'good' (the scientific method?) and to imply other races dont value rational thought, is racist.
This is essentially describing traditional American values. These traditional values were created by (or grew out of) the dominant group. In America the dominant group are “Whites”. In a sense, these describe the default American values/culture which also describe White values/culture. White people may not see these values/culture as “White Culture” but simply as the traditional American values/culture.

Sounds like values that make you successful in American capitalism to me not sure why we need a race for it- but it was created by white people...what would a ‘black’ or ‘asian’ or ‘hispanic’ version of this be? Anything I can think of what be considered extremely racist as it would tie into racial stereotypes. Somebody who created that flyer would probably get fired... Also lets not bring grilling into this. If your steak is ‘bland’, that is your problem.
European culture was the winning culture so it's been adopted by everyone and now whatever was uniquely European before is just human today
It is an effective culture, and not white at all. Asia and Middle East contributed a lot. Discovery of math doesn’t belong and neither valued by white people. What is really American white? Something not shared by other “white” cultures? It is obsession with Civil Rights. Interesting, but it is not mentioned. Wokeness - is a purely white american movement. Definitely not science. On average Americans are ignorant and even anti-scientific. This includes both the left and the right.

Do you think it’s particular to white people in the US specifically? Doesn’t it imply the opposite attributes in everyone else? Isn’t that reductive and unfair to people who haven’t grown up white in America who share and appreciate those values?
