The Trade Desk - anyone interviewed with them?
Looking for some info on anyone who has interviewed with The Trade Desk in the past. Anyone have insight into the process? Comp structure? I am UK-based. Any info is much appreciated! Tc £76k
Did you do the interviews? I did the phone screen which was alright, on to the "final stage" now. Any idea what is expected? The recruiter said this round would be closer to LC style coding medium/hard. Just want to ensure I do the correct prep

I dropped out of the interview process as I wasn't keen on the return to office policy. From the phone screen it was a pair programming excersize trying to gauge your understanding of refactoring code into OOP concepts, concurrency and understanding of basic performance concepts. I thought the interview was quite nice. Was quite collaborative. I don't think it's something you can really grind LC or whatever for. My excersize was around caching and abstracting away eviction policies and trying to optimise the cache. Not sure if it's the same for everyone but understand LRU cache incase it's the same. Anyways I didn't do the on site so can't comment there
I am curious too. I got contacted by a recruiter. Seems like a great place to be. I am based in Germany though. Is there an office in the UK or are all European roles remote?

Ah ok. The recruiter told me it is 100% remote. Though ya all roles I saw on the careers page are in some office which is why I was curious. Will see what they say when I have a call with them
